Overall, I think my website turned out alright, but there are lots things I could improve. It has 5 pages which cover each area of the school such as lessons and contact information. The pages link together from an easy-to-use navigation bar and the clolur scheme is complementary since they match and are easy on the eyes. There are many pictures on the site to show what the school is like and what they do, and a VLE page for current students to get resources and complete homework from home.
However, there are still a lot improvements to be put into this website. Firstly, the information blocks of text have been left empty when I could have written something in them. There are there to display where the real website's text boxes would be, but I could have put the effort to write in them so the website doesn't look so blank. Also, I haven't got an intro video on my homepage from the Headmaster, which also leaves the page looking blank and unfinished.
Altogether, my preliminary website design is a good start for the real thing, and if I can impliment these improvements and changes then I think my finished product will be successful.
